The program, with a total load of 120 teaching hours (nine credit-hours, 9CH), offers ten short courses covering trending tech topics, which are taught in English. Students have to select eight topics, accounting for a total of 80 teaching hours (6CH). The Spanish language course accounts for the remaining 40 teaching hours (3CH).
We have two target audiences: individuals, mainly freshmen and sophomores, who wish to enroll in the summer school to awaken their still dormant technological vocation, and groups of students accompanied by their own teachers. We intend to set aside time (3CH) and space for this second group to bring and follow their own regular material as part of the summer school schedule.
The Spanish language side of the program is run with a blended learning methodology combining classroom face-to-face tuition with individual and group activities via an online program. At the same time, we will organize complimentary technical activities and cultural visits to the major cultural sites in Madrid and arrange cultural visits to Madrid’s surrounding towns. These will be open to all participants.
